ALEX DENA, President of Dena Entertainment, has a passion for entertaining. With more than 20 years of experience as a live music producer and DJ, he has served as a top requested events DJ in Miami, Florida, cruise ship DJ, and head of DJ program development for Carnival Cruise Line and Holland America Line. 

 

Alex created Dena Entertainment to foster the development of new and exciting programs on land and at sea. Alex and his team provide a full menu of DJ, Live Entertainment, and hosting services for corporations, cruise lines, groups, and individuals. From company events to weddings and private parties, Dena Entertainment is a one-stop shop for all your DJ and Live Entertainment needs, all with a singular goal in mind - deliver the most memorable experience to guests of all ages.

 

Dena honed his DJ skills at an early age. He began DJ’ing house parties in his native Belize. He then took his career to the seas as a DJ for Carnival Cruise Line, the world’s most popular cruise operator, eventually moving up in the ranks to become the lead DJ for the cruise line’s revamped nightclub experience. After earning a reputation as one of the top seagoing DJs in the Caribbean, he was promoted to traveling supervisor, training new and established DJs across the fleet in Carnival’s very own Spiniversity before moving to the company’s Miami headquarters to oversee the largest DJ shipboard program in cruising. He now provides entertainment to all major cruise lines and leads DJ casting and program development for Holland America Line.
